1. Most weapons are melee, so this attribute is useful for all character builds, except pure bow-users. Vitality - determines the Bard's hit points. At 6 points you have 30 HP, at level 20 you have an additional 200. You also get +10 HP each time you level up, and there is a token that gives us a permanent health bonus as well.

The Bard's Tale - Ego Sword. Fantasy art from The Bard's Tale fantasy role playing game. In this cutscene, the Bard first acquires the singing Ego Sword from the firbolg miners. It is an awesome weapon, but the actual singing (when the Bard wanted to conjure a companion) was somewhat boring 'la la la la.' Email ThisBlogThis. The Bard's Tale is a fantasy role-playing game similar to Wizardry games, with first-person exploration of pseudo-3D maze-like environments, and turn-based combat against randomly appearing enemies. Unlike early Wizardry installments, the town can be explored physically, and parts of the overworld are accessible as well.

The Bard's Lore is one of the few user-made games created with Interplay's The Bard's Tale Construction Set that have been preserved to this day. It features a completely new plot, new art, new spells, new monsters and puzzles, and is pretty hard. The playing mechanics remain the same as in the original Bard's Tale.
