If you're unable to find your iZotope products within Ableton Live, you can try the steps below to locate them: 1. Rescan your folder. To perform a rescan, open Ableton Preferences and head to Plug-ins (10.1 and later) or File/Folder (All versions until 10.1) and click the rescan button under 'Plug-In Sources'. Go to Preferences File Folder and click on the ‘Browse’ button for “VST Plug-in Folder”, and browse and select “Ableton VSTs. Live will scan all VST folders you have placed shortcuts to in the “Ableton VSTs” folder. Now, when you click on “Plug-ins”, you will notice the shortcut names as folders. Live stores Collection tags as.xmp files in the User Library Ableton Folder Info subfolder. Collection Labels are stored in the Ableton system Preferences folder Library.cfg You can transfer the Ableton Folder Info subfolder from the User Library and Library.cfg from one computer to another to move any saved Collections. 3) Force Ableton to rescan the plugin: (Example with Steven Slate Drums 5 below) #1 – Move the SSDSampler5.vst file out of your vstplugin folder #2 – Restart Live #3 – Close Live #4 – Move the SSDSampler5.vst back into the vstplugin folder #5 – Restart Live and hold the Option / Alt key on your keyboard.
